How do you photograph weddings?

On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the vibe, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments, and all the details in between that make your wedding special. That's why sometimes my favorite weddings to photograph are a little non-traditional and laid-back.

What is your philosophy when shooting weddings?

My philosophy is to stay present and always get the little details in the moment. Little details create big memories. By staying present in the moment, I'm able to document the day through your eyes; the special moments and interactions that you won't find on a shot list for the day. Coming from a heavy customer service background, it's imperative to me that the bride and groom are completely taken care of. I've taken my earrings off for one of my bride's when she couldn't find the back to her's. I've wiped down seats after a quick rain shower when the MOB wasn't ready but I had all the shots I needed. I'm your photographer but it's very important to me that my couples know that they also have a friend and someone that will do anything they need them to do to help their day run as flawlessly as possible.

What is your photography style?

I consider my photography style to be candid and authentic. It's so important for me to get to know the couple so I can document their love in a way that best showcases their real love. The chemistry. The sparks. The good stuff.
Once I know the couple's vibe and we are all comfortable together; I'm able to create candid shots through posing and prompting that fits the couple (i.e. introvert or extrovert) specifically. My goal is always to have fun. If you are having fun with your photographer, your pictures will ALWAYS come out better.

What's your turn around time for a wedding gallery?

I can proudly say my turnaround time is six to eight weeks - especially during busy season. I'm a closet perfectionist and I take my editing seriously. I individually edit each image and then I like to give it a minute and review again with fresh eyes to make sure i'm delivering my best work to my clients.
These pictures are everything to me because I know how important they are to you and your families. It's my biggest goal as your photographer and brings me so much joy to know that you are happy and feel like you are reliving your wedding day when the gallery is delivered.
